I've gotten to the final legs of disposing of stuff my mother collected. Below are some decorative and somewhat useful objects made of metal. Most are available to give away if you want them sometime soon (early 2025). I'm contemplating keeping, for now, one of the big brass platters. The rest I really don't want, even if I kind of like them. Anything not given away to a friend will be donated to an upscale thrift store in Bethesda.

I had no idea anyone decorated their hatchet. Good for them. I crave the cigarette case!
ReplyDeleteoof, I also love these. I LOVED your parent's taste as you know. I would be interested in both sets of vases, the cigaret box and the danish coffee set. Again, only as you see fit, and happy to pay/donate.
ReplyDeleteI would be THRILLED for you to rehome the coffee set! I really like it, but I don’t actually want it. I think Liz put in for the cigarette box (I’ll show it to her Sunday). The vases will be yours!
